What is UHMWPE?
Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene is an advanced synthetic fibre renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, abrasion resistance and cut resistance. What Does Level 4 Mean?
These certificates confirm that the UHMWPE fabric successfully achieved EN388:2016+A1:2018 Puncture Resistance Level 4, with measured puncture forces between 565 N and 605 N. This indicates the material offers a very high level of protection against puncture hazards while maintaining the lightweight and flexible characteristics for which UHMWPE is known.
